Why this matters👉👉blood sugar regulation and fertility go hand in hand. Blood sugar impacts key hormones such as progesterone and estrogen. On top of this, unregulated blood sugar is a major stressor on the body, that can lead to internal inflammation that can negatively impact fertility.
In pregnancy, a mother’s blood sugar can hold lifelong impacts on the metabolism of their baby in utero, and establishing healthy blood sugar prior to and during pregnancy can positively impact a child’s lifelong metabolic function.
Thankfully, there are lots of incredible hacks to support blood sugar.

Here are the first three things I would do:
1) assess your nutrition and eat a nutrient dense diet that is rich in minerals.

2) optimize your digestion. If digestion doesn’t functional optimally, a healthy diet won’t matter as much because the body can’t process what it’s taking in. It is also so important for hormone health!!

3) learn how to track your cycle and start tracking now! This will allow you to come off of birth control prior to conceiving and allow your eggs and uterus time to recover from all the synthetic hormones. It will also give you insight into your hormone health and where you need support.

These are just the first three steps in my seven phase protocol to prepare the body for pregnancy.
