POV: You’re dreaming of having a baby… but no POV: You’re dreaming of having a baby… but no one ever told you that you can tell exactly when you’re fertile—your body is giving you the clues every single cycle. 🩸✨

Fertility isn’t random, and it’s not just about hoping things align. When you learn how to chart your cycle, you unlock the power to pinpoint your fertile window with clarity and confidence. Here’s how:

📈 Ovulation is the main event. When it comes to conception—it’s all about when you ovulate.
🌡️ Basal body temperature (BBT) rises after ovulation, signaling your fertile window has closed. But the true key? Your cervical fluid.

💧 Cervical fluid changes throughout your cycle—and it’s the most telling sign of your fertility. As estrogen increases, your cervical mucus becomes more abundant, slippery, and stretchy. This fertile cervical fluid (often described as “egg white” consistency) helps sperm swim and survive in your reproductive tract, giving them the best chance to meet the egg.

🧠 Charting your cycle with BBT AND cervical fluid is like getting a personal hormone report every month. It reveals how your brain, ovaries, and cervix are communicating, and tells you exactly when you’re approaching ovulation.

👶 You only have about 6 fertile days per cycle. But when you can recognize cervical fluid changes and track your signs, you can time conception with intention—and boost your chances of success.

Learning to chart is empowering. It gives you insight into your body’s natural rhythms and helps take the stress out of the process. 🌿✨

POV: You’ve searched high and low for the “bes POV: You’ve searched high and low for the “best probiotic” for prenatal health—maybe even dropped $$ on a fancy supplement—only to discover the most powerful option might already be in your fridge🥬🥣

Think: raw sauerkraut, kefir, full-fat yogurt, fermented carrots, or beet kvass. These aren’t just old-school pantry staples—they’re living foods, packed with diverse, naturally occurring beneficial bacteria that support your gut, hormones, and growing baby.

Here’s why I always recommend starting with fermented foods as a foundational probiotic source:

✨ More microbial diversity– Unlike most supplements that contain a handful of lab-grown strains, fermented foods offer a dynamic spectrum that adapts to your environment and helps build resilient gut flora.
✨ Whole foods - You’re not just getting probiotics—you’re getting nutrients that support digestion, detoxification, and nutrient absorption.
✨ Gut health = hormone health – A well-fed microbiome helps regulate estrogen metabolism, reduce inflammation, and even influence the vaginal microbiome your baby inherits during birth.
✨ Daily exposure matters – When you eat small amounts of ferments consistently, you’re creating long-term microbial change—not just taking a “hit” of bacteria that may or may not colonize.

🧬 That said— I still believe a high-quality, targeted probiotic can be incredibly beneficial, especially during preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, or after a round of antibiotics.

But REALLY FOOD lays the foundation.

So before you feel like you need to “supplement your way” to gut health, try adding a spoonful of sauerkraut to lunch or sipping some kefir with your snack.

Here’s the exact blueprint I use with my 1:1 cli Here’s the exact blueprint I use with my 1:1 clients to restore hormone harmony from the inside out👇👇

1️⃣ We start with the gut and liver✨
because your body eliminates excess estrogen through the liver (Phase I & II detox) and then through the gut.
If either of these systems is sluggish, it can lead to estrogen dominance, poor nutrient absorption, and systemic inflammation.

2️⃣ We assess and chart the menstrual cycle🌱
because it gives real-time insight into hormonal patterns. Is ovulation happening? Is the luteal phase long enough? Are there signs of progesterone deficiency or anovulation?

3️⃣ We build a nutrient-dense, personalized food strategy🎉
not based on restriction, but nourishment. We focus on minerals like copper, magnesium, and potassium, fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, E, and K, and high-quality proteins/fats to stabilize blood sugar and support hormone production.

4️⃣ We support the nervous system🌸because chronic stress impacts the body at a cellular level. It affects the HPA axis, which impacts hormone health. We use various tools such as nourishment and lifestyle shifts to bring the body back into a parasympathetic, healing state.

Hormones don’t work in isolation.
And when we address your hormone imbalances at the root—not just throwing a bandaid on symptoms—you can experience real transformation.

✨If you’re ready to get to the root and begin restoring balance, my free guide, Happy Hormone Breakfast Tips, is a perfect first step.

Did you know that even if you are well-fed, your b Did you know that even if you are well-fed, your body may still be hungry?
This phenomenon is known as “hidden Hunger,”
which occurs when the body is deficient in micronutrients (aka vitamins and minerals).

This occurs when the diet lacks these nutrients or struggles to digest them, which is unfortunately common under the standard american diet.
Unfortunately, hidden hunger, aka micronutrient malnutrition, is likely at the root of much of the chronic disease that is dramatically rising in western countries.

These deficiencies can also lead to fertility issues as the body does not recieve the nutrients it needs to have thriving fertility.
It can also lead to nutrient deficiencies in children, impacting nutrient stores throughout childhood and into adulthood.

The good thing is that hidden hunger can be reversible!
By consuming a nutrient dense diet and supporting the systems of the body, nutrients can be restored to the body.

What better time to restore nutrients than in the preconception stage?
